      Do I also need additional sound deadening material?

      Wool absorbs sound incredibly well

      If you insulate with Havelock Wool you will not need additional sound deadening material. This is because wool naturally absorbs sound incredibly well. It's Noise Reduction Coefficient is 90%, meaning all but 10% of sound gets absorbed by our insulation.  Check out the compelling video below!
